Share the Fun! Share the Art! Share, share alike!

Happy Thursday/Friday! I wanted to welcome you to a new addition to my blog! I'm tickled pink (Worn Lipstick Distress Ink Color to be exact) to be added to a wonderful group of jewelry makers, crafters and all-around talented people! You've got to check them out. Whether you consider yourself "just" a Scrapbooker, Rubber Stamper or Jewelry Maker, the insight and information they offer crosses over to everything!

Before you scroll down to the list, I just wanted to remind you that Saturday is the last day to check out my blog and post who sent ya! Sunday, the latest Monday I'll have them tallied and the stamps awarded! Craft on! I've so enjoyed hearing from people I've not had contact with in a while-I'm so glad you enjoying the blog! I'm having a blast!
  • The Impatient Beader: The Big Apple is a veritable beader's paradise! Margot went to judge the Create Your Style Swarovski competition and scored some fantastic new beads and bits. Go see!

  • Snap out of it, Jean! There's beading to be done! Jean shows a bracelet with lots and lots of cheery Earthenwood Studio pumpkins. She entered it in the Art Bead Scene challenge for October. Pumpkins surely can be Boo-tiful!

  • Savvy Crafter Beads, beads, beads! They’re everywhere. Candie pokes around her apartment taking pictures of all things lovely and beadafied.

  • PearlEsq. Robin provides some fun ideas for how to create "under pressure!" She shows how to have some fun with techniques on your down time, so when in a rush, you're ready to go! Also check in on her fun Stamp Giveaway Contest!

  • Katie's Beading Blog Get a sneak peek at one of Katie's projects in the new issue of Easy Wire magazine. Subtle fall colors and lots of texture combine for a fresh, organic look.

  • Jewelry and Beading Blog How about some low-cal candy corn this Halloween? How about zero calories in fact? That's what you'll get with this eye-candy elastic bead bracelet at the Jewelry and Beading Blog.

  • Bead Arts Here is Cyndi's list of the best metal bead suppliers. Do you have any you'd like to nominate?

  • Art Bead Scene Stop by and see the variety of art beads we found recently, all based on the idea of "spooky trees", and inspired by the current change of season and upcoming holiday.

I also wanted to tell you to check out Suze Weinberg's site and her videos! She and her husband, Lenny, work together to prep, film and edit some great techniques with the Melting Pot and other great products!

Everyone have a wonderful weekend...next week's going to be busy work week. Catching up with Tim to prepare for next year and to finalize prep for next weekend's Ranger U!

Linky Hugs,

Robin

I agree with whoever said that the non traditional stamps are the best. The guy in the speedos? Hot! ;) I can't imagine WHY you'd be wanting to part with him? I'd like to get him all distressed!!!! wah hah hah

And... do you have any art that you've made using these stamps? I really want to see something made from that guy. Perhaps we should challenge the winner to create something and show us.

And more importantly - what other treasures do you have lurking in your stash???? I bet there's more.....

Robin,

You know that I think you're one of the most talented women on the planet, don't you?

I'm amazed that you find time in your hectic life to blog, but impressed. I'm not sure who was the first person to send me over to your blog, but I'm so glad they did. Love the soldered pieces and love the experimentation with the flower stamps.

Keep going girl - we'll just bask in the glow left behind!

Hey, Robin . . . I'm an old Secret Stamper pal of yours from the StampSmith Yahoogroup.

Do you remember when I severely injured my ankle, and you sent me the hugest, most beautiful, most touching, most thoughtful (husband excepted of course) thing/gigantic vase o'doom flower bouquet ever, that anyone has ever done for me?

Oh, and you sent the BEST packages, too! I know I've got some beautiful stamped, wired, and beaded frames from you from that secret pal exchange awhile back, around here!

Of course, I've fallen deeply into the whole bead thing (and I'm GOING to update my bead blog today!!) . . . .

Of course, if you DON'T remember me (I'm in Utah!), this all is probably rather confusing.

I think some of my samples are still up on Stampsmith's site.

I was just thumbing through that little Ranger mixing embossing powders book, which I really went to town with one birthday and created a whole slew of varieties, and thought of you. Then I remembered I'd recently seen a comment by you over at Art Bead Scene, and had checked for a blog last month or late in August.

Well, I'm rather forgetful, but I checked again and yay, you're blogging!

Maybe my rambling has you remembering me now, lol!

Woops, I forgot to mention, I know I'm a day too late for the contest, but I somehow missed the wording about there being one in my excitement in seeing you had a blog, lol!

Also, I believe I scanned the recipe pages with my samples and instructions for my Ranger Embossing Powder custom mixtures and posted them to my everything crafty but beading blog, if anyone wants to replicate them. I need to play and make more. And get more Ranger Ep's. And Inks. And Paints. And and and (lol.)

How have you been? My "main" life, and mental health issues, blog, kinda explains what happened to me, why I dropped out of things and didn't do anything for quite a while.

I hope you've been doing well! I need to read your archives here!
